Arnold Schwarzenegger plays John Matrix, a retired Special Forces commando who leads a quiet life with his daughter Jenny (Alyssa Milano) in an isolated Arizona mountain town until the day that Jenny is kidnapped by the nefarious Commando (Dan Hedaya). In order to save her from being executed as part of a ritual sacrifice, Matrix reluctantly accepts one last mission to rescue her. The film was released in the United States on July 3, 1985 and grossed $25 million at the box office.
