The original Emmerdale village of Esholt and Shipley the town it’s within are a couple of those places. Esholt is a village within the town of Shipley which is within the City of Bradford which is within the county of West Yorkshire.. Therefore the address should be: Esholt, Shipley, Bradford, West Yorkshire, England, UK. It’s just like how in New York City is divided for example: Bedford is within Bedford-Stuyvesant which is withing Brooklyn which is within New York City which is within New York State. Therefore the address should be: Bedford, Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, New York, NY, USA. Now away from the topic of the incomplete address he’s something which might interest you… 99% of the time when there’s a prison or court scene in Emmerdale (especially in recent years), you can guarantee they will have used the Bradford Police Museum which is within Bradford City Hall on the ground floor. The cells within the museum have also been used in Peaky Blinders, as well as other rooms and areas of the building. It must have been used for at least 10 court cases, and a few prison stories in the last 3 years alone. Bradford City Hall alone must have been used by at least 50 films or TV shows. Another area of Bradford which has been used a few times in Emmerdale (among other shows and films) is Little Germany. I remember seeing Robert Sugden have a secret meeting with Rebecca White a couple of years ago in Little German. Belle Dingle went to Little Germany when she ran away because of the voices in her head. I remember Sam Dingle being offered sex from a prostitute while the Dingles were looking for Belle at the bottom of Vicar Lane in Little Germany. And I remember Charity Dingle and Cain Dingle bumping into Holly Barton’s ex-drug dealer Dean while they were looking for Belle in Little Germany. All of these scenes were around 2016, but there’s no doubt others. The Broadway Shopping Centre (which is next door to Little Germany) was used late last year when Jai Sharma found out that Nell Fairfax was pretending she had a daughter. He noticed countless photo frames using the same picture of a little girl that she used, in the Debenhams store. And in 2011 Valley Parade Football Stadium, in Manningham, Bradford was used when Aaron Dingle took his boyfriend Jackson Walsh to watch Bradford City AFC, along with Paddy Kirk, Rhona Goskirk, Hazel Rhodes, Jerry Walsh, and Chas Dingle.
